Abel Philip

Abel Philip was born in Mubi, Adamawa State, he is an indigenous son of Madagali Local Government Area, Adamawa State. Abel Philip is a final-year Chemical Engineering student at Modibbo Adama University, Yola, with a strong background in student leadership, public relations, engineering innovation, and technology. He is a Director and Co-Founder of Mankind Technology Limited, Abuja, where he contributes to the company’s strategic direction and technology-driven initiatives. His leadership experience includes serving as PRO, NUESA–MAU Chapter (2023–2024), ELCOM Chairman (2024–2025), and Departmental Secretary-General (2024–2025). He currently serves as a Departmental Senator and as Public Relations Officer I (PRO I) of NUADSS, where he focuses on credible information dissemination, and student engagement. Abel has a keen interest in engineering and innovation and emerged as the Grand Winner of the Nigerian Engineering Olympiad (NEO) 2025. He has also received several recognitions at national and international levels, including the World Well Conference Forum 2025 Award, Arab Oil and Gas Summer Internship Award, and SEES Award 2024, among others. With additional training in Information Sustainability and Management (WCU, 2023), Abel is passionate about the intersection of leadership, communication, and community development. “The future belongs to those who are willing to build it.” With this conviction, Abel continues to pursue knowledge and leadership, with the ambition of developing solutions that contribute meaningfully to society.
